Mission Statement
To provide a forum for discussion, mutual advice and learning
on current best practise for safety-related systems, which contain
embedded software, within the automotive industry and associated
suppliers; to provide feedback on the use of the MISRA Guidelines,
and to contribute to their promotion and use throughout the world.
Membership
Membership is aimed at personnel from the organizations that constitute,
or support, the automotive industry, who have an interest in the
continuing improvement of the development processes for safety-related
systems that contain software in general, and the use of the MISRA
Guidelines in particular. Members from other industry sectors
are welcome in order to promote cross-sectorial fertilization.
Benefits
The ability to meet engineers from other companies who have similar
objectives and problems. To be able to discuss issues of common
concern, to be introduced to new techniques, and thus to contribute
to the improvement in the quality of the automotive systems in
each member's organization, and those of the industry in general.
Meetings
Each meeting will have a theme and either commence with one or
two short, possibly controversial, introductions on that theme,
or there would be a longer presentation on a specific subject.
There will be plenty of time for discussion. Speakers may be
invited from consultants, universities and tool suppliers.
If you would like to suggest a theme for a meeting please contact the
MISRA Project Manager.
